| Doesn't A Removed Item Just Come Back On My Credit Report? |
|
Hi, Could you please tell me what would happen if some of my creditors would put the derogatory right back on my report after one of your lawyers have it removed? That is my only concern. Thank you, Cynthia Cynthia; This is a common question we get all the time. Your assigned attorney will be challenging your disputes according to the Fair Credit Reporting Act. If the credit bureau's cannot validate the tradeline according to that legislation then its a permanent deletion from your account. We actually measured this last year, only 4% of the items we challenged came back on the report, so we simply re-challenged them again and 96% of the 4% came right off the second time. Great question! Jim Hogle "the credit counselor"
